Engagement & Refund Policies
Effective date: February 19, 2026
Rowanstone provides institutional diagnostic services designed to help leadership teams understand structural dynamics within their organizations. The following policies describe how Rowanstone engagements are structured and how adjustments are handled.
These policies are intended to provide transparency regarding the diagnostic process. Formal terms of engagement are established through a written agreement with each participating organization.
Structure of a Rowanstone Engagement
A standard Rowanstone diagnostic engagement includes four primary stages:
Engagement Confirmation
Participation is confirmed through a written agreement and payment of the diagnostic fee.
Survey Deployment
Rowanstone launches the diagnostic survey for designated participants within the institution.
Data Analysis
Aggregated responses are analyzed to identify patterns in signal flow and structural alignment.
Briefing & Delivery
Delivery of the diagnostic report followed by a leadership briefing to review key institutional insights.
Note: Diagnostic engagements do not include ongoing advisory, implementation support, or restructuring assistance unless agreed upon in writing.
Engagement Fee
The standard Rowanstone diagnostic engagement fee is $10,000. Payment is due prior to the launch of the diagnostic survey unless otherwise specified in the engagement agreement.
Rowanstone may offer pilot engagements or adjusted pricing at its discretion for a limited number of organizations as the diagnostic framework continues to evolve.
Refund and Engagement Adjustments
Rowanstone engagements involve dedicated intellectual labor tailored specifically to the institution. Fees are structured around milestones of work:
Before Survey Deployment
If an engagement is canceled before the survey is launched, fees may be refunded in full minus payment processing and administrative costs.
After Survey Launch
Once data collection has begun, the analytical phase is underway. Engagement fees are generally non-refundable at this stage.
Mid-Engagement Adjustments
If cancellation occurs after collection but before the final report, Rowanstone may refund a portion corresponding to work not yet completed.
Rowanstone reviews engagement adjustments in good faith when unusual circumstances arise.
Use of Diagnostic Insights
Diagnostic findings are intended to assist leadership teams in understanding organizational dynamics. The Rowanstone diagnostic provides analytical observations but does not constitute legal, financial, or regulatory advice. Organizations should consult appropriate professional advisors when making decisions based on diagnostic findings.
